Growing Together — Lenten Series
Wednesday Evenings @ 7:00pm
Meeting God in Mark: This Lenten season join us as we read through a very short and beautifully written book by the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams. The book, Meeting God in Mark: Reflections for the Season of Lent, is packed with illuminating spiritual insights, and the focus on the Passion narrative makes it a rich companion to the Gospel of Mark. The book explores the meaning and purpose of Mark’s Gospel and calls readers to see God working in the world around them. We will be gathering on Wednesday evenings for discussion and learning based on the book’s reflections and prayers. The cost of the book is $10. Feel free to buy the book on your own online or let Stephen Smith know that you would like a copy by today, and the office will order you a copy. All are welcome – even if you are unable to read the book, please feel free to join us on Wednesdays for new insights and learning.
