Walk In Wednesdays
Looking for a way to get to know the folks at St. Simon’s? Bring a side dish to share and come join us for our Walk In Wednesday potluck supper! Every Wednesday evening at 6:00pm, people from the St. Simon’s community get together for a casual dinner and fellowship. Everyone is welcome!
Wednesday, August 23—7:00-7:45 pm
As a way to help us grow in depth of relationship with each other and with God, voices from the St. Simon’s community will teach on topics related to faith over the summer. These short presentations will take place after Walk-in Wednesday and will last no longer than 45 minutes. Please join us as we continue to grow as a community by listening to one another.
This week will feature Carl Raezer, Associate for Music & Youth. He will be sharing about that big xylophone he plays on Sunday mornings (also called a marimba). He will discuss the history of the instrument, performance techniques, and share stories of why it has been his favorite percussion instrument.
