The life of faith is never lived in isolation—we abide with God and with one another, even as we are varied and different.
Deepening the bonds between us is a commitment, a value, and way of life grounded in the wisdom of Jesus that loving one another, truly, deeply, beyond the surface we present one another, is loving God. We have created opportunities for us to talk about what matters to us, a chance talk about how we live with difference, what helps us to do so and what value is gained when we take that risk with one another.
With every breath we are all connected to God. By cultivating our awareness of this profound connection in meditation, we ground ourselves in what is life-giving and sustaining in the whole of our lives. Join Elizabeth Jameson in learning and practicing together this way of awakening.
Looking to develop a spiritual practice? Join Stephen Smith to learn about and practice the ancient Benedictine form of contemplation and prayer. Lectio Divina (translated from the Latin as Divine/Sacred Reading), is the spiritual practice of reading scripture, meditating, praying, and contemplating.
Please join us for Centering Prayer. We meet in the staff office and begin with instruction on the simple method of silent prayer. All who seek God’s presence are welcome—no preparation or consistent attendance are required.
